Since its foundation in late 2013, eMoSys has established itself as an independent development partner for high-performance electric drives. We develop customised system solutions for electromobility based on state-of-the-art technologies. Our electric motor solutions are used by manufacturers and system providers in the aerospace, automotive and other industries who rely on our expertise and technical know-how in advanced drive technology.
An important milestone in the history of eMoSys was reached in 2018, when Stephan Eck succeeded his father, Maximilian Eck, as CEO. Maximilian Eck, who co-founded the company with Dr Andreas Gründl, laid the foundation for eMoSys' current success as a pioneer in electromobility. Under Stephan Eck's leadership, the team has expanded significantly and the Starnberg site near Munich has been transformed into an agile and innovation-friendly environment where forward-looking projects are realized.

We do not settle for the first answer that comes along. If something is not efficient, not well thought through or simply does not make sense, we say so. We question the established, think in new directions and try out fresh approaches – technically, structurally and in the way we work together. Ideas do not end up in a drawer here. We assess them on their merit and put them into practice when they move us forward. We pull in the same direction, support one another and do not hold up change just because it means more work.

We are passionate about new technology.
One of our most innovative developments is our 1000V inverter, designed for a 250kW machine. Weighing less than 2kg, it far exceeds industry standards. This combination of performance and lightweight design underlines our ability to develop electric motors and systems → that meet the most demanding requirements.
Our expertise also extends to system integration, where we combine drive technologies with proprietary control electronics →. From simulation and development to prototyping and extensive testing on our high-performance test bench →, we offer everything from a single source.
