From the initial announcement and preparation to the intense days on site – ILA Berlin 2026 was an inspiring and highly valuable experience for eMoSys.

The exhibition once again demonstrated how dynamically the aerospace industry is evolving. The strong focus on sustainable technologies and electric propulsion was visible throughout the event and clearly shows that the transformation of the industry is in full swing.

🚀 Our highlight at ILA:

For the first time, we presented our BoostDrive Speed ED600 Gen1 – the electric propulsion system developed for the Flying Fuel Cell (FFC) project by MTU Aero Engines within the Clean Aviation program.

With 600 kW continuous power, an efficiency of over 96%, and a highly redundant liquid-cooled multiphase architecture, the system attracted great interest and sparked many exciting technical discussions.

💡 Our key takeaways:

  • Strong momentum towards electrification in aerospace

  • High demand for high-performance and scalable propulsion systems

  • Valuable exchange and new impulses for future collaboration

A big thank you to everyone who visited us at Hall C | Booth 310 at MTU Aero Engines and took the time to connect – we truly appreciated the conversations!

Let’s keep the dialogue going and continue shaping the future of sustainable aviation together.

👉 Feel free to reach out – we’re always happy to connect!
