We are delighted to present to you our brand-new testing facility 02 for electric high-performance drives, traction drives, and powertrains.

Our testing facility 02 provides a wide range of testing options to perform commissioning, functional verification, and system testing of propulsion systems. This includes peak performance verification, efficiency measurement, load cycle testing, and precise speed control through a synchronous machine.

​

The testing equipment includes an electrical load machine with 600 kW, 16,500 rpm, and ± 600 Nm, as well as a DC power supply for 0 - 600 V and ± 1400 A.

Highly accurate power and efficiency measurement with DC current and DC voltage, as well as speed, torque, and rotor angle monitoring, are also available. A shaft locking device, a vibration monitoring system, and an electronic rapid shutdown (<15µs) ensure safe testing.

In addition, our testing facility has two independent liquid cooling circuits with water or water/glycol mixture, as well as liquid conditioning with temperature, pressure, and flow control. Separate pressure and temperature measurement in the flow and return lines ensure precise monitoring of the cooling circuit.
